Do I need an account?

Yes — you sign up with email or a Google/social login. Your account holds your wallet, vehicles, charging history, and saved routes.

Which connector types are supported?

OMI supports Type 1, Type 2, Type 3A, Type 3C, Schuko, CCS1, CCS2, CHAdeMO, ChaoJi, GB/T, NACS, and MCS connectors. Add your vehicle in the app and the map can filter to chargers that fit it.

How do I pay for charging?

Top up your in-app wallet, then start a session at the charger. When charging stops, the cost is settled from your wallet automatically and a receipt is saved to your history.

Is the availability information really live?

For stations connected to the OMI platform, availability comes straight from the charger over OCPP, so you see free / in use / offline in real time. For stations aggregated from partner data sources, we show the freshest information available.

What happens if a charging session fails?

If a session fails to start or is interrupted, you're only charged for energy actually delivered. Anything pre-authorized from your wallet is released, and you can raise a dispute in the app if something looks wrong.

Which areas does OMI cover?

OMI is built for the Philippines, starting with Luzon's main corridors and Metro Manila, and expanding as more stations and operators come online. The map always reflects current coverage.

A charger near me isn't on the map — can I report it?

Yes, please do — tell us through the contact page. We aggregate stations from multiple sources and add missing ones as we verify them.

What hardware does OMI work with?

Any charger that supports OCPP 1.6J — the open standard most charging hardware ships with — can connect to the platform for live status, remote start, and metering.

How do operators get paid?

Drivers pay through the app, and your earnings accumulate against your operator account. You track revenue and settlements in the operator portal, with reports exportable to Excel or CSV.
